MJ Decorations

Backdrops, Head Tables, Cake Tables, Tent Decoration, Linens, Chaircovers with Sashes and Dance Canopies are my specialty. However, if you bring me a picture, or a detailed description, I will build it just for you! If you have your own designs, favors, or centerpieces and you just need someone to set them up and/or break them down, I will also provide that service at your ceremony and/or reception venue! mjdecorations > This is the after picture. The lighted dance canopy, lighted head table and lighted cake table give a sparkly touch. This couple was married under the arch on the dance floor, which was moved after the ceremony. The tablecovers and chairs are basic white with basic red sashes.

mjdecorations > Beach Theme Wedding- The couple couldn't get married on the beach in November, so we recreated the beach indoors! A beach backdrop, bamboo arch, shorts, flip flops, and beach balls gave everyone the impression that they were at the beach!

mjdecorations > Beach Theme Wedding- A full room view of the wedding ceremony. The arch was replaced with the sweetheart table after the ceremony. The tulle and lights were in the hall and they wouldn't let us take it down, so we put up our lighted hanging lanterns to give a tropical feel.

mjdecorations > Beach Theme Centerpiece- A charger with sand, beach chairs, tiny flip flops, umbrellas and shells replaced the standard flower centerpiece.

mjdecorations > Beach Theme Gift Table- I wrapped my locking gift box with tropical fabric. The kisses and mints were spilling out of conch shells. The bowl in the center is filled with shells.

mjdecorations > Beach Themed Cake- White chocolate shells with graham cracker crumb "sand" on a sea blue cake by Modern Bakery on an under lighted table.

mjdecorations > Beach Theme Tiki Bar- We covered the roof with palm mats, hung some lanterns, theme palm trees and hula skirting.

mjdecorations > Navy Blue and White Wedding- White Dance Canopy with White lighted hanging lanterns over the lighted oblong sweetheart table. The linens are white with white satin chair covers and navy blue satin sashes with navy blue napkins.

mjdecorations > Autumn Wedding- This small, budget wedding was held at Camp Newhoca in Vernon. The bride and groom wanted to be married outside under the beautiful fall foliage, but it actually snowed on October 18th. That's not a usual occurrence! We taped down the aisle runner so nobody would slip and sprinkled silk leaves on the runner. The wreath on the wall gave some indication of the ceremony spot since they didn't want an arch.

mjdecorations > Sweetheart Table- The bride and groom wanted to sit in front of the fireplace. We couldn't have a real fire, so we put a candlabra in the fireplace. The pumpkins, bittersweet and leaves accented the candles on the mantle. The bride and groom had ivory chair covers that we accented with burgundy ribbon. The overlay was mine and the wreath with flowers and gourds surrounded the hurricane candle. The cupcake table is in the background. The cupcakes were gluten and dairy free from Dee's One Smart Cookie in Glastonbury, and I can attest that they were scrumptious.

mjdecorations > Cupcake Table- The cupcake table was decorated with leaves and underlighted. The bride wanted all paper, so we used paper tablecovers and skirts. The cupcakes are sitting on a burgundy napkin. The tiers are made out of cardboard. The cupcakes were chocolate raspberry, carrot with mocha frosting and vanilla with lemon frosting. They were delicious even though they were gluten and dairy free. Dee's One Smart Cookie in Glastonbury provided the cupcakes.

mjdecorations > Sign-in Table- A basket with burgundy liner holds the seed packet favors. The programs are available as the guests sign the picture frame instead of a guest book. I would recommend that you put a picture in the frame, but the bride and groom wanted to put one of their wedding pictures in the frame. The overlay is mine and it covers the paper tablecover and skirt.

mjdecorations > Favor Basket- The favors are personalized with the bride and groom's name and wedding date. They are a packet of wildflower seeds.
